Through Irish Life’s efforts in preparing our members for retirement we have extended our partnership with TILDA whose overarching aim is to "make Ireland the best place in the world to grow old".
What is TILDA?
TILDA collects information on a wide range of lifestyle aspects including: health, economic and social circumstances from people aged 50 and over. Through the latest wave of data collection we now know many things about the older Irish generation.
Irish Life joined TILDA as a founding partner in 2006. TILDA has become a powerful benchmark for longitudinal studies globally. Its relevance has increased with the ageing profile of the Irish population and a strong desire for research-informed policymaking.
Research done by TILDA supports the fact that preparing for retirement goes well beyond financial considerations.
We are eager for the new phase of the partnership which will allow us to develop a deeper understanding of population needs, looking at the future of work, saving behaviour and retirement and pension needs in Ireland.
We continue to put our customers first and ensure a tailored approach to individual needs.
