With the introduction of the EU Directive IORP (Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision) II, Trustees have to ensure that high standards of governance are maintained for their pension plans.

One key aspect of this will be having a signed Service Level Agreement (SLA) with their providers.

Irish Life have created a template for a Service Level Agreement that can be used by our clients to meet this requirement.

This Service Level Agreement document sets out our turnaround times in relation to our pension administration services as well as the responsibilities and expected response times from the Trustees and Employer in order for Irish Life to meet the SLA.

This allows Irish Life and the Trustees to monitor and report on the agreed turnaround times and to give the Trustees confidence that the service Irish Life are providing are top class.
